Michelin Guide 2026

We’re honored to have earned a mention in the Michelin Guide within our very first year, joining a wave of exciting new additions to the D.C. dining scene, including Elmina, Karravaan, La’Shukran and PhoXotic, and finding ourselves in good company alongside established names like Michelin Star, Albi.

It’s a milestone that means even more given our roots. Our sister restaurant in Scotland, Fish Shop, Ballater, has retained its own Michelin Bib Gourmand for a second year running – our values and ethos remain strong on both sides of the Atlantic.

Our Team & Values

Recognition like this doesn’t happen without the right people behind it. None of this would be possible without our incredible team – Head Chef Ria Montes, whose menus are built on a sense of place and a commitment to sourcing the freshest, most responsibly caught fish and shellfish from the Chesapeake Bay and beyond, and General Manager Jake Fleming, whose care for every guest and the community around us keeps the floor running with warmth. It’s this dedication, from boat to plate, that earns us a place in the Michelin Guide.

Our Values

Other Press

Michelin isn’t the only spotlight we’ve found ourselves in this past year. Head Chef Ria Montes was named a StarChefs Rising Star, a nod to the bold, seasonal cooking she brings to our kitchen every day. We were also honored with a 2025 Eater D.C. Award for Design of the Year, recognizing the care and craftsmanship that went into every corner of our space. Along the way, outlets from Axios to Resy have covered our story, celebrating what happens when Scottish seafood tradition meets the flavors of the Chesapeake Bay.
