Harvest Fall Fest
Join us on October 22nd for the evening as we celebrate the Fall with our Harvest Fest at Fish Shop. Enjoy tray-passed canapés, wine, beer and spirits from the bar, and a variety of hands-on food stations.
The evening celebrates some of our most valued purveyors, the growers, fishers and makers who supply Fish Shop and share our belief in sourcing responsibly and cooking with care. Chat to them, learn their skills and taste their produce, shown off in a variety of ways by our Exec Chef, Ria, in the kitchen.

Celebrating Our Purveyors
From breaking down a whole tuna with Top Hat Jeff to shucking oysters with Spike from Double T Oyster Ranch, there will be plenty to taste, learn and celebrate. You’ll hear how Moon Valley Farm’s regenerative approach supports small local growers, how Baywater Seafood is helping bring the bay scallop back to the East Coast, and how our charity partner Dreaming Out Loud is building a fairer local food economy. All the while you’ll be sipping on drinks from some of our favorite independent brands.

Food & Drink
Expect tray-passed canapés to appear throughout the night, alongside hands-on food stations where you can watch, taste and get involved. The focus is on seafood at its freshest, with plenty of Chesapeake shellfish, and on seasonal Maryland produce, cooked in the bright, flavourful style Fish Shop is known for.
The bar is stocked with independent makers and pours to match. Look for small-batch Virginia bourbon and a barrel-aged tequila made entirely by women, bittersweet Italian-style aperitivi and amari for spritzes and Negronis, characterful Virginia wines, and hazy, juicy IPAs from Brooklyn’s Other Half Brewing.

Getting Here
You’ll find Fish Shop on Water Street Southwest at the Southern end of The Wharf on Water Street. Adjacent to Poetry & Prose and Pluma Bakery and opposite Arena Stage, it’s just a 6 minute walk from the Waterfront Metro Station and moments from many bus stations. There are several public parking garages along The Wharf, including the Atlantic Car Park underneath the building, but public transport is very easy and our recommended route.

What time and where is Fall Harvest Fest?
Fall Harvest Fest takes place on 22 October from 6pm at Fish Shop, 610 Water Street SW, Washington, DC 20024.
Is there a dress code?
No, it’s a casual event. Wear whatever you’re comfortable in!
What's included in my ticket?
Your $75 ticket includes food, drink and entertainment for the evening.
Is this a sit-down dinner?
No, it’s a relaxed stand-and-mingle event. Food will be passed around and served from stations, so you’re free to wander, chat to our purveyors and try a bit of everything.
Who will I meet at the event?
Several of our purveyors will be there in person, from the oyster growers and seafood producers to the farmers and distillers. They’ll be on hand to chat, share their skills and talk you through what they make.
Which drinks brands will be there?
Some of our favorite independent makers will be pouring, including Lost Whiskey Club, 1953 Tequila, Lightwell Survey Vineyard, Forthave Red, Other Half Brewing and Don Ciccio & Figli. Their teams will be on hand to talk you through what they make.
Can I turn up on the night?
If there are spaces available we may be able to welcome walk-ins on the night, but we highly recommend booking a ticket in advance to guarantee your entry.

Is there parking available?
There are several public parking garages along The Wharf, including Wharf Garage 3 which is in the same building but public transport is very easy (5 minute walk to Waterfront metro) and our recommended route as there can be limited availability.
Will there be outdoor seating?
Fish Shop has plenty of outdoor seating on our patio that runs the length of the restaurant and overlooks The Potomac. In the winter, the glass fronted floor to ceiling windows allow for views of the water even from inside.
