Open daily for dinner, Fish Shop bar & restaurant, located on The Wharf in Washington DC, offers a truly sustainable, seafood focussed menu and a bar serving cocktails inspired by the restaurant’s Scottish roots.
Diners can enjoy a selection of menus catering for all occasions and group sizes, and those wanting to dine in a more intimate setting can opt for one of our three private dining rooms.

A Dinner Menu That Changes With The Tides
Our dinner menus comprise only that which is truly in season. To do that, we work closely with local fishermen fishing sustainably from day-boats on the Potomac River and mid-Atlantic. Dinner guests can expect a range of seafood on the menu including Maryland crab, New Jersey squid, North Carolina tuna and Virginia middleneck clams.

Set Dinner Menu
Through the week, enjoy a taste of Fish Shop DC with our Set Dinner Menu, available from the June, 9 2025. Dishes will change with the season, so there is always something new to experience on the Set Dinner Menu.
Enjoy 2 courses for $18, or 3 courses for $25. Available Monday–Friday, 11.30am – 3pm.

Exceptional Cocktails
Arrive early and enjoy a relaxed, pre-dinner cocktail at the bar. Using local ingredients, our cocktails are inspired by our Scottish origin.

Upgrade To The Chef’s Tasting Menu
For special occasions and dinners to impress, choose our five-course Chef’s Menu. This special dinner menu changes seasonally, a sample selection of dishes include Tall Timbers and Baywater oyster selection with house hot sauce, North Carolina blue fin tuna, housemade fresh pasta and VA candied peanut tiramisu.

Conscious Design
A core value of Fish Shop is to be as sustainable as possible in all that we do. That ethos extends past the ingredients used in our dishes and drinks, it is integral to our design choices. Everything has been carefully considered to be as eco-friendly as possible.
Our restaurant table tops are made from 100% chemically inert recycled plastic, and are themselves recyclable. Our bar lamps are made using glass waste, and the furniture in the restaurant is hand crafted using natural or using salvaged materials from old boats and fishing nets. Even our menus are made using recycled coffee cups.
